My Necklace shows nothing / isn't connected
Open Ivy J on your iPhone, go to the Necklace tab, and check that Portal Paired, Ivy J Portal Installed and Portal Connected all say Yes. If not, open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, find Ivy J and install it. Then open Ivy J on the Necklace once.
The Necklace locks or the screen turns off
A Watch locks itself when it leaves your wrist. In the Watch app on your iPhone: My Watch > Passcode > turn off Wrist Detection. Then keep the screen on: Display & Brightness > Wake Duration > 70 seconds, Always On, and General > Return to Clock > the longest option. The Setup guide in the Necklace tab walks you through it.
Memories take a long time to arrive
Videos travel from your iPhone to your Watch over Bluetooth, so keep the two close together and keep Ivy J open on the Watch. Smaller batches are quicker.
Gambit doesn't answer
Allow speech recognition (Necklace tab). On an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence turned on, Gambit uses Apple's free on-device AI. Otherwise add your own Claude API key from console.anthropic.com in the Necklace tab.
Create with AI says it isn't available
It uses Apple's Image Playground and needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence turned on and finished setting up (Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri).
My videos are silent
Every video starts at zero volume. Press and hold the Memory, tap Edit, and raise its Volume.
Battery
A screen that stays lit uses battery. Charge your Necklace every night. The Necklace tab shows its battery and storage.
